Director, Membership Support
Odette Gwandi is the Director of the Division of Membership Support, which consists of two branches: Call Center and Call Center Support. Membership Support is responsible for counseling non-retired members, retired members, and beneficiaries on their retirement benefits by phone or in writing. The division counsels members on retirement and health insurance eligibility for all benefit tiers, benefit estimates and service purchase calculations, federal tax withholding, pre-retirement and post-retirement correspondences, direct deposit, and survivor benefits. The division also provides Member Self Service assistance to members, processes active member refunds, and updates member accounts.
Ms. Gwandi joined the Kentucky Public Pensions Authority in September 2004. She received her undergraduate degree in Political Science and holds a Masters of Publication Administration from Kentucky State University.
