Jason Hargis

​Jason Hargis is the Director of the Division of Membership Support. The Division functions as KPPA's membership call center. The Division educates KPPA members about their benefits and retirement eligibility. Membership Support is also responsible for scheduling appointments, processing member refunds, and assisting the members with using Self Service. 

Mr. Hargis joined KPPA in 2007 where he first served KPPA and its membership as a Retirement System Counselor. In 2015 he was promoted to Retirement Program Manager in the Division of Disability and Survivor Benefits and transferred back the Division of Membership Support in the same role in 2022. Mr. Hargis was promoted to Assistant Director for Membership Support in 2023 and named Director for the Division of Membership Support in 2026. He has a bachelor’s degree in physical education from Western Kentucky University.
