CERS Actuarial Committee

The CERS Actuarial Committee is a standing committee of the CERS Board. It reviews and evaluates actuarial assumptions, funding methods, and tables proposed by the actuary for each plan within CERS. These affect the determination of the actuarial valuation of assets and liabilities, factors that apply to amounts payable to members, and the actuarially recommended contribution rate for employers. The Actuarial Committee meets semi-annually, with authority to convene additional meetings as circumstances require.
